Fed: Senator to confirm he will back package+2
The South Australian senator has been in talks overnight and Friday morning with Treasurer
Wayne Swan.
Senator Xenophon voted with the coalition on Thursday to scuttle the package after
the government reached a deal with the Australian Greens.
The government rushed a second package of bills through the lower house late on Thursday night.
The Senate is currently debating the legislation.
