A new report from The Wall Street Journal Online and e-business research company eMarketer has found that 50m people in the US are online at work.
This means that a total of 37% of all employees in the US have Internet access at work. Out of all those people 70% have a college degree and 50% are from households that are making USD75,000 or more per year.
Other results showed that 60% of consumer online dollars are spent in the work place, 86% of at-work Internet users have a broadband connection, 38% are employed by large companies and 40% work for small businesses.
